1980s Seattle Mariners

Dave Henderson, arguably the best dressed player in Seattle Mariners history in 1980. Ed Vande Berg in 1985, Bill Swift in 1986, former manager Maury Wills during spring training in 1981. Wills is wearing a star trident cap with the Mariners' 1977-80 home uniform. Maury Wills, arguably the Mariners' worst manager but best dressed. Former Seattle Mariners second baseman Jack Perconte in 1985. Alvin Davis, Harold Reynolds and Dave Henderson celebrate a Seattle Mariners win, the Mariners catcher who would catch Randy Johnson's 1st career no hitter in 1990, Scott Bradley in 1986. The Seattle Mariners 1981 program that introduced the world to the new uniforms. The Seattle Mariners star trident and the Seattle Mariners outstanding 1981-86 home uniforms! 1985 Seattle Mariners Relief Corps! Royal blue and gold are Seattle Mariners colors. If the Mariners weren't a contender for the title of best dressed team from 1980-1986 I don't know who would be. Pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants are simply the Ultimate Baseball Look! Seattle Mariners - Repeal the teal!

San Jose State Spartans

The San Jose State Spartans' classic baseball uniform. Very traditional looking v-neck pullover jersey. A solid look, plus a real powder blue uniform as well with something that's virtually nonexistent in Major League Baseball now, mid-calf baseball pants! For the 2015 season, San Jose St. added striped stirrups to their set. A very good baseball uniform that would be even better if they ditched the belted pants and replaced them with sansabelt baseball pants with a striped waistband.

Seattle Mariners BP jerseys

There may be some good news to report, Mitchell and Ness may finally start selling the Seattle Mariners' greatest BP jerseys in the future! The Mariners' 1981-86 BP pullover jerseys were outstanding and they should be seen again! Dave Valle, Danny Tartabull, Phil Bradley, Harold Reynolds in the Mariners greatest BP jerseys and the 1981 Seattle Mariners posing as actual mariners in the batting practice jerseys with the popular star trident logo! 1983 Seattle Mariners posing in front of the USS Mariner in the Kingdome. Royal blue and gold are Seattle Mariners colors!

1972 Chicago Cubs road jersey

I saw this on Uni Watch today, a 1972 Chicago Cubs road jersey! Nice looking v-neck pullover jersey with a centered number! Jose Cardenal and Ron Santo in the 1972 Chicago Cubs road uniform! No buttons, no placket, no problem! There's no debate, pullover jerseys are far superior to button-front jerseys.

Toronto Blue Jays

Dave Stieb, Tony Fernandez, Fred McGriff, Danny Ainge and George Bell in Toronto Blue Jays athletic wear! The Toronto Blue Jays' best home uniform was worn from 1977-88 and the Toronto Blue Jays' best road uniform was worn from 1979-88, the greatest powder blue baseball uniform in history! V-neck pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants with a striped waistband, the Ultimate Baseball Look! This is just a timeless look! There is no need for buttons and belts on real baseball uniforms. I guess things went downhill for the Blue Jays aesthetically in 1989, the same year SkyDome opened.
