Cincinnati Reds - Tom Seaver

Tom Seaver was traded by the New York Mets to the Cincinnati Reds on June 15, 1977. This would be the first time Tom Seaver would wear a proper baseball uniform. The Cincinnati Reds began wearing proper uniforms, pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants with low cut stirrups, what is now known as the Ultimate Baseball Look in 1972. A time that we now refer to as the Golden Age of the Baseball Uniform!  Tom Seaver went 75-46 during his time with the Reds. Tom Seaver pitched his only career no hitter in a Reds uniform. He recorded his 3,000 career strikeout in a Reds uniform and finished second for the National League Cy Young Award in 1981. He was traded back to the Mets following the 1982 season. He was inducted in the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame in 2006.
