Hiroshima Carp

The 2012 version of the Hiroshima Carp 1975 and 1976 uniforms. V-neck pullover jerseys and belted pants that had a striped tunnel belt loop that made the pants almost resemble sansabelt baseball pants. Was apparently worn August 24-26, 2012 as well as August 30-September 1, 2012. Need more info.

California Angels - Mike Trout

On July 17, 2011, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim played a 'Turn Back the Clock' game at the Oakland Athletics. Each team supposedly wore uniforms based on uniforms from the mid-eighties. Back then, the team, then known as the California Angels wore v-neck pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants with a striped waistband, we now know it as the Ultimate Baseball Look! Unfortunately, the Angels wore oversized pullover jerseys and belted pants. Flash forward to August 29, 2014, the Angels once again played a 'Turn Back the Clock' game and wore "retro" uniforms. This time, they wore both v-neck pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants with a striped waistband. Of course, since Majestic is MLB's uniform supplier, the jersey, though more tailored than the 2011 game, was still on the baggy side and the pants were long and baggy as well.

Compare Mike Trout's California Angels uniform with that of Wally Joyner, who played with the California Angels during the Golden Age of the Baseball Uniform.

Giants BP Jerseys

The San Francisco Giants unveiled a new home alternate jersey February 6, 2015, and of course it was terrible. People have grown so accustomed to awful looking baseball uniforms they're numb to it. It's just unfortunate that the sport has degraded so badly. Several months ago, during the 2014 World Series, I came across 3 San Francisco Giants BP jerseys from the 1980s, the Golden Age of the Baseball Uniform, and they look great. Apparently, 2 of them might have been designated as "fashion" jerseys, nonetheless, they're far better than anything the Giants have ever worn in their century plus years of existence. Mesh v-neck pullover jerseys by Wilson which should be brought back today as double-knit jerseys. Just grow the game already.
