The San Francisco Giants wore athletic wear, v-neck pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants, from 1977-82. They had white home uniform and an orange pullover jersey that originally said "San Francisco". That jersey was replaced by one that simply said "Giants" in 1978, the same year a black v-neck pullover jersey was introduced. The orange and black jerseys stand out much more than the white. Hopefully, the Giants will once again wear baseball uniforms that will inspire the youth and the athlete. Those uniforms are pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants with the striped waistband. Here is former Giants manager Frank Robinson, Willie McCovey, Jack Clark, Joe Morgan, Vida Blue and Larry Herndon, Clark, again and John Montefusco in vintage San Francisco Giants v-neck pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants, the Ultimate Baseball Look during the Golden Age of the Baseball Uniform, as well as Barry Zito in a throwback Giants uniform.
