This entry is to compliment the separate entry for the Minnesota Twins era Rod Carew. The Minnesota Twins wore athletic wear, v-neck pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants with a striped elastic waistband from 1973-86, although they did start wearing sansabelt baseball pants a season earlier. The home uniform was white with red and navy trim. The road uniform was powder blue or "baby blue" to the locals with red and navy trim. They had caps and stirrups that had the "TC" logo on them. The Dallas Baptist University Patriots baseball team has a navy blue v-neck pullover jersey as part of their set. That's fine, but it also time to replace the generic belted baseball pants with dynamic sansabelt baseball pants with a striped waistband. You grow the game, you grow the program. Do it right.
The Buffalo Bisons have celebrated their affiliation with the Toronto Blue Jays for three straight seasons with "Blue Jays Weekend" promotions. On June 21 and 22 of 2014, the Bisons wore v-neck pullover jerseys and a special cap inspired after the Toronto Blue Jays greatest home uniform that was worn from 1977-88. You have to like a baseball jersey where it's possible to place a logo in the center without having to worry about buttons and plackets. Grow the game by getting nonsensical button-front jerseys out of it!

The Ashville Tourists once had some tremendous baseball uniforms when they were affiliated with the Houston Astros. They were an Astros farm team from 1983-93, but their uniforms really stood out from 1989-93, especially 1989. In 1989, they had v-neck pullover jerseys with great blue and red stripes on the shoulders and sleeves similar to the Astros rainbow stripes during that time. In 1989, they also had sansabelt baseball pants. From 1990-93, the Tourists wore v-neck pullover jerseys and belted pants.
