In a previous post, I mentioned a Puerto Rican all-star team wearing uniforms inspired by the New York Mets during the 1995 Caribbean Series. It seems like Puerto Rican teams have been wearing uniforms inspired by the 1986 New York Mets, v-neck pullover jerseys with racing stripes, etc., for years. Edgar Martinez and Roberto Alomar in Puerto Rico wearing New York Mets inspired uniforms. I want to know more about the history of this. Senadores de San Juan? Metros de San Juan?

According to Dressed to the Nines, for a span around 12 or 13 seasons, the Baltimore Orioles, as part of their uniform set, wore orange v-neck pullover jerseys to go along with the sansabelt baseball pants with a striped waistband they wore then as well. A strong look, the Orioles' best look, the Baltimore version of the Ultimate Baseball Look.
Paul Blair, Jim Palmer, Earl Weaver, Reggie Jackson, Eddie Murray, Mike Flanagan and Gary Roenicke in the Baltimore Orioles best uniforms which include that great orange v-neck pullover jersey. As well as a solid Eddie Murray Baltimore Orioles mesh gray BP pullover jersey.
