Nankai Hawks

According to the blog, Japanese Baseball Cards, the 1972-76 Nankai Hawks baseball team, now known as the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks, wore crewneck pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants with a striped waistband. Their colors were similar to the Pittsburgh Pirates during that time. As mentioned earlier in this blog, the Hawks wore throwback uniforms during the 2014 NPB season. They wore crewneck pullover jerseys and belted pants with a striped tunnel belt loop that resembled sansabelt baseball pants. Following 1976, the Nankai Hawks embraced color and it was glorious.
