From 1977 thru the 1980 season, the Anchorage Glacier Pilots, a summer collegiate baseball team, wore uniforms similar to what the Atlanta Braves wore on the road from 1972-75, or specifically 1973-1975 when the Braves wore v-neck pullover jerseys, not the 2-button henleys in '72. The Glacier Pilots wore v-neck pullover jerseys with raglan style sleeves exclusively and sansabelt baseball pants with a striped waistband.

The baseball jerseys worn by players participating in the 12 and under Cooperstown Dreams Park tournament are v-neck pullover jerseys. The National Baseball Hall of Fame has long been criticized for outfitting new inductees in archaic button-front shirts that just don't resonate with either the fans or the players. Proper baseball jerseys are pullovers. The Hall of Fame should take a cue from Cooperstown Dreams Park and utilize pullover jerseys. Nothing else would make sense.

Kids want to look good too and nothing looks better than v-neck pullover jerseys!
