Well, Dave Henderson wasn't the only Henderson who proudly wore the star trident cap of the Seattle Mariners. Ernie Henderson, the son in the 1987 film, Harry and the Hendersons, played by actor Joshua Rudoy, wore a star trident cap during the movie.

The best jerseys of the old Phoenix Giants minor league baseball team, former Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. We see the pullover jerseys the Phoenix team wore, similar to the classic v-neck pullover jerseys the San Francisco Giants wore from 1977-82. We also see the pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants with a striped waistband the Phoenix Giants wore thru the 1985 season. That's basically the Ultimate Baseball Look version of the San Francisco Giants uniforms of 1983-93. Former outfielder Rob Deer and manager Jim Lefebvre in the uniforms the likes of Will Clark, Matt Williams and later Barry Bonds, should have been wearing at Candlestick Park.

The Cracker Jack Old Timers Baseball Classic was an annual baseball game played by former major league stars at RFK Stadium in the 1980s. The uniforms were very generic in appearance but they did consist of v-neck pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants. Some of the participants included Hall of Famers like Sandy Koufax, Harmon Killebrew, Al Kaline, Hank Aaron and Willie Mays. All but Koufax and Mays had worn pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants during their MLB careers.

Robinson Canó signed a 10-year contract with the Seattle Mariners following the 2013 season. Nelson Cruz signed a 4-year contract with the Seattle Mariners following the 2014 season. The fans throughout the Pacific Northwest and the world have demanded the Mariners bring back their most popular and greatest uniforms, originally worn from 1981 thru 1986. Royal blue and gold v-neck pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants with a striped elasticized waistband. The fans are demanding that Robinson Canó and Nelson Cruz wear the best Seattle Mariners trident uniforms full-time, not just during Turn Back the Clock games, as they did June 25, 2016, for as long as they're members of the Seattle Mariners. The sooner the better.

On July 16, 1970, the Pittsburgh Pirates opened up Three Rivers Stadium, but more importantly, most importantly, they debuted baseball's first real uniform. No more sweaty flannel, no more nonsensical buttons, no more clunky, constricting belts. Pullover jerseys and beltless "sansabelt" baseball pants. The genesis of the Ultimate Baseball Look and the very beginning of the Golden Age of the Baseball Uniform. Anyone who claims to be interested in baseball uniforms, logos or sports aesthetics in general, should set aside an hour every July 16 for quiet contemplation just to reflect on the historical significance of that moment that occurred in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
